Final Rulings

The first two digits represent the year the matter was filed, the abbreviation MSRC is for MINE SAFETY REVIEW COMMISSION, the independent agency that hears the administrative action, and the last three digits represent the serial order in which the case was filed that year. Complainant, commonwealth of Kentucky, Office of Mine Safety and Licensing is abbreviated “OMSL.” The respondent’s name follows the “v” which is the abbreviation for versus indicating that these matters are adversarial-type hearings. The date following the name of the respondent is the date of the final order issued by MSRC.
